If you’re reading this, welcome - I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Catherine, founder of The Brew Basket, and this is our very first blog post. It feels only right to start at the beginning: with the story of how this little idea turned into a small business built on warmth, kindness, and a good cuppa.
Where it all began
The Brew Basket started with a simple thought: Why isn’t gifting easier?
I’ve always loved sending thoughtful little surprises to friends, colleagues, and family - something small that says “I’m thinking of you.” But I found myself wishing there was a way to send a warm, comforting moment through the letterbox… something personal, affordable, and genuinely uplifting.
And like many small business stories, that tiny spark turned into something much bigger.
The heart behind the brand
Tea has always been my way of slowing down.
A moment of calm.
A pause in a busy day.
A way to connect with someone - even from afar.
I wanted to bottle that feeling and turn it into a gift that anyone could send, for any reason:
